We aren't taking our re-opening lightly.  Your safety, the safety of our staff, and the safety of everyone we all go home to is our priority.  In order to keep our doors open, we are counting on you to help up by following these safety measures:

  • Face coverings are required.  Wearing a mask or face covering is essential to shop in person at this time (by you and us).  If you cannot, will not, or simply don't want to wear a mask--please wait until masks are not required or take advantage of our shop by phone or online options.
  • Hand sanitation is a must. Please use hand sanitizer when you enter the store and before you leave. We will provide it for you at the door and at the register.
  • Social distancing is key.  We have placed floor stickers throughout the store to help customers and employees maintain spacing of at least 6 feet.
  • Save your food and drinks for later. It is not possible to eat and drink while wearing a mask.

If you still aren't ready or able to come in, you have options! Please call and schedule an appointment - they are available 30 minutes before store opening hours and immediately after store closing. We continue to offer phone sales and virtual shopping using FaceTime or Skype. Our online store is here to stay at  We can also schedule a private meeting through Zoom and take you through the shop. We continue to offer curbside pick-up, free local delivery (within a 10-mile radius), and shipping options.

As things continue to change, we will adapt to provide the yarn therapy we all need right now. Thank you so much for your continued support.

All of us at Center of the Yarniverse have missed you dearly. Our dream has always been to build on the wonderful community of crafters, not just be a yarn store. We can’t wait until the day we can welcome you back with open arms...and hugs!
