Tapestry/Fair Isle Crochet



Looking to learn a new crochet technique?  

This class will teach the Fair Isle technique.  Learn the technique by making mug rugs the first week and put your skills to the test by making a beanie the second week.    

Class 1: Basic technique and mug rugs

Class 2: Working in the round by making a beanie

Skills taught:  Fair Isle Crochet and how to read colorwork crochet patterns.

Supplies:  

Yarn:  2 skeins of contrasting yarn colors in worsted weight for each class sesiion (cotton for mug rugs is a great idea)

Hook:  5 mm (H)

Notions:  Scissors, Stitch Markers, Tapestry Needle, Tape Measure


Skill Level – Must know single crochet and basic crochet skills (Beginner+)
