Beginning Knitting (aka Knit Tasting) - In Person with Jenna
Knit Tasting – try it, you’ll like it!
If you have never knit, or it has been a bit, Knit Tasting could be for you.
No previous knitting skills required. In this three-session course you will learn a basic cast on, knit and purl stitches and how to bind off.
Project: Fingerless mitts
Instructor: Jenna Hycner
Supplies:
Yarn: Worsted weight yarn approx. 140 yards worsted weight yarn. Recommended: Cascade 220 Superwash or Uptown Worsted
Needles: US 7/4.5 mm 24”/60 cm circular needle
Pattern: Provided by instructor and included in class fee
Notions: Measuring tape, row counter, 3 stitch markers (1 locking and 2 of any kind so long as they are different than the 1 locking marker selected), tapestry needle, scissors
